Jack has been with the team at SunTracker Technologies for over 4 years. With a M.Sc. and B.Sc. in statistics with a minor in computer science, Jack brings his technical background to the forefront of research and development for SunTracker. Jack’s research interest’s include machine learning, scientific computing, and new uses for statistical methods, most recently comparing satellite and weather irradiance data to predict light, applying it to SunTracker’s DLI calculator for horticultural practices throughout the year for any location on Earth. Jack is an integral part of the SunTracker research team and is heavily involved in several ongoing projects as well as an inventor adding to SunTracker’s growing patent portfolio. In his spare time, Jack plays volleyball and chess and enjoys hiking the beautiful coastal trails of Vancouver Island.
